STAR WARS VOCABULARY: PREQUEL

Hello and welcome back! How's your Friday going so far?

We are continuing with our theme, Star Wars Vocabulary, and learning the word PREQUEL.

Definition: A movie made after the original movie, but the story takes place in the time before the setting of the original movie. (A film that follows another film and is a continuation of the story is called a SEQUEL.)

Example 1: I can't wait for the prequel! I'm excited to learn how the characters in the original film became who they are.

Example 2: I thought the prequel was better than the original movie.
