I'M NOT ENTIRELY CONVINCED

Hello again everyone. Happy Thursday and happy February. Welcome back to the Daily Vitamin. I hope you're enjoying your day.

Today we look at three more phrases and expressions that we can use to disagree with other people. 

Following are today's three phrases to disagree with people. 
⇒ I'm of a different opinion.
⇒ I can't quite agree with that assessment.
⇒ I'm not entirely convinced.

Example 1:
Andy: This conference is so poorly organized.
Monica: I'm of a different opinion. Except for the problems during the coffee break, everything has gone quite smoothly. I'd say the organization has been quite good.   
Andy: Perhaps you're right. Maybe I'm just frustrated because I didn't get to try any of the doughnuts. They were gone in 5 minutes. 

Example 2:
Patrick: I would say that we are on track to have one of our worst years yet. Sales are down by 30% compared to the same time last year.  
Sandy: I can't quite agree with that assessment. Remember that those results happened with only half the sales team compared to last year! Now we have the full team back and I'm sure they will make up for lost time.
Patrick: I hope you're right. 

Example 3: 
Nancy: I just know that the San Francisco 49ers are going to win the Super Bowl in February. 
Adolf: I'm not entirely convinced. I think the Kansas City Chiefs are the better team.
Nancy: We'll see. Would you like to bet on the game? 

Hopefully this week you can use some of these phrases in your daily English interactions; maybe even today.
