Meaning / Use: This is a humorous remark about someone’s reaction to a prank.
Dialogue 1:
Alex: (hiding behind a door) Boo!
Jamie: Ahhh! You really scared me!
Alex: You should've seen your face! It was priceless!
Jamie: That was not funny! I almost had a heart attack!
Today's 2nd phrase is: Let’s see if we can pull a fast one.
Meaning / Use: To pull a fast one means to successfully deceive someone.
Dialogue 2:
Liam: The boss is on vacation.
Sophia: Perfect. Let's see if we can pull a fast one and convince everyone that it's casual-dress all week.
Liam: Oh, this is going to be fun.
