WAY-4: meaning and examples

Hello again. Good morning.

Today we continue our look at expressions with the word way.

Today's 1st expression isto come your way

Meaning: to happen by chance or at a time when you weren't expecting it.  

Example 1:
He's a very positive and easy-going individual; he takes whatever comes his way, good or bad, with a smile and a positive attitude.

Today's 2nd expression is: every which way (informal)

Meaning: In all directions.

Example 2
The children were running every which way on the playground.

For those of you who are old enough to remember, in 1978 there was a comedy film, starring Clint Eastwood, called "Every Which Way but Loose".
