TO NAG: meaning and examples

Good morning. I hope you had a nice weekend.

This week we are going to look at some of the interesting words and expressions that came up in last weekend's Ziggurat Breakfast Club.

Today's word is: to nag

Meaning: to keep complaining to someone about their behaviour or keep asking them to do something.

Example 1:
David. Can you please clean your room. I'm sorry to nag so much, but if I don't remind you, you seem to "forget."

Example 2:
She nags her husband all day long.

Have a nice day!
