SEASON-2

Good morning everyone. Happy December.

Today we continue our summary of the different uses and meanings of the English word season. Yesterday we studied the following meeting:

-Any of the four main periods of the year: winter, spring, summer and autumn

Meaning 2: a period of time during a year when a particular activity happens or is done.

Example 1:
He's very excited about the start of the hunting season.

Example 2:
My son scored his first goal of the (football) season last Saturday. 

Example 3:
Hotels are usually full during the peak season (temporada alta).
