SALES PITCH

Good morning. I hope everybody enjoyed the long weekend. Today's expression is: sales pitch. It means: what a person says in order to convince you to buy a product, such as promises or explanations about the product. Example 1 Joe has the most effective sales pitch in the company. His monthly sales are higher than anybody else's. Example 2: I went to a weekend seminar on marketing. It was called "How to deliver a smooth sales pitch."
