REVERSE CHARGES CALL: meaning and examples
Good morning.
Today we look at another expression that came up in last weekend's Ziggurat Breakfast Club.
Today's expression is: a reverse charges call
Meaning: a phone call that will be paid for by the person you are calling. It is also called a collect call in US English.
Example 1:
If you run out of money, just make a reverse charges call.
Example 2:
When you have made a decision, please call me. You can call me collect; I don't want you to have to pay for the call.
