REQUESTING HELP (2)
REQUESTING HELP (2): meaning and examples
Good morning, Yesterday we saw that we can use the modal verbs CAN and COULD to request help in a polite (educado) way. Today we will look at some other common words that are used when we ask for help. HOW DO YOU verb When we want someone to explain a process, we use the question word HOW verb in the present simple. For example: How do you do this? (¿Cómo se hace esto?) Notice that in this example the subject pronoun you refers to everybody or anybody in general. It does not only refer to the person who receives the request for help. Example 1: Excuse me. How do you turn on this machine? Example 2: Pardon me. How do you fill out (rellenar) these documents? Tomorrow we will combine the modal verbs CAN and COULD with the question word HOW. If you are still wondering, "How do I use today's Daily Vitamin?," please don't hesitate to contact us. Have a great day!
