MANAGE-3: meaning and examples

Good morning. Today we are going to look at the meaning of the verb to manage when it is followed by an infinitive verb (for example, to do). Today's expression is: to manage to do something. It means: to succeed in doing something that is difficult. Example 1: After three hours of trying, I finally managed to ski down the hill without falling. Example 2: I can't manage to open the lid on this jar. Are you strong? Can you help me? Example 3: We've managed to convince the client to try our service for six months. If he doesn't like it, we'll give him a refund, but I'm sure he'll be satisfied! If you can't manage to understand this word, please don't hesitate to contact me. Enjoy the rest of your day!
