Today we continue with our look at expressions with the verb look in them.
Today's first expression is: to look forward to something
Meaning: to be thinking, with pleasure, about something that is going to happen, since you expect to enjoy it.
Example 1:
I'm looking forward to going to the party this weekend.
Today's second expression is: to look into something
Meaning: to examine something.
Example 2:
A special committee has been set up to look into the corruption charges.
