LOOK EXPRESSIONS-2: meaning and examples

Hello again everyone.

Today we continue with our look at expressions with the verb look in them.

Today's first expression is: to look back (on something)

Meaning: to think about something in your past.

Example 1:
The older we get, the more we like to look back on our childhood years. 

Today's second expression is: to look down on somebody

Meaning: to think that you are better than someone.

Example 2:
She is such a snob! She looks down on anyone who has not attended university.
