LET'S EXPLORE SOME OPTIONS
LET'S EXPLORE SOME OPTIONS: meaning and examples
Hello everyone. Welcome back to the Daily Vitamin. I hope you have had a good week, and I also hope you are having a good day.
Today I'm going present not just one, but two phrases that we can use when we want to compromise or be more flexible in a conversation. Like the other phrases we've looked at this week, we can use them when we are negotiating or arguing with someone, but we want to create trust or a new perspective.
Today's 1st phrase is: Let's explore some options
Example 1:
Nancy: I want a raise, but my boss says the budget is tight.
Craig: Instead of just a salary increase, let's explore some options that could benefit both parties. Maybe bonuses or extra vacation days?
Nancy: That's a great idea. I think that would work.
Today's 2nd phrase is: I can see your point, and...
Example 2: I can see your point, and I think we can work together to find a solution.
👉 Now it's your turn. Can you write your own sentence or dialogue with one or both of today's phrases? You can post your sentences/dialogues on one of our social media sites (Facebook or Bluesky) and we will give you feedback about them ASAP. As always, we appreciate your participation.
I hope you have a great day and an excellent weekend. We'll be back on Monday with more lessons.
All the best!
