I'M NOT CONVINCED
I'M NOT CONVINCED: meaning and examples
Hello everybody. Happy Thursday and welcome back to the Daily Vitamin!
Once again, today we present two more phrases that we use to express doubt and/or uncertainty in English.
Today's 1st phrase is: I'm not convinced.
Example 1: Jack, I'm not convinced that this is the best solution. I think we should talk to the board of directors before moving forward.
Today's second phrase is: There's a chance that...
Example 2: There's a chance that we may need more time in order to finish the project. Would that be okay?
👉 Is there a chance that you might write one or two original sentences with today's phrases? I'm not convinced that you will write the sentences, but I hope you prove me wrong. If you do want to prove me wrong, please share your sentences on one of our social media sites (Facebook or Bluesky) and we will give you feedback about them ASAP. As always, we appreciate your participation.
Enjoy the rest of your day!
