HEART EXPRESSIONS (3)

Hello everybody. 

Today's expression is: to lose heart

Meaning: to stop hoping for something or to stop trying to do something because you no longer feel confident or don't think you can be successful.  

Example 1:
Mariano: It doesn't matter what I do, my popularity is not improving.
Eduardo: Don't lose heart, Mariano. If you keep doing what Angel and I say, I promise that people will vote for you.  

Example 2:
He is a great director. Whenever there are problems in the company and all of us are just about to lose heart, he motivates us to keep going.
