FIRST CONDITIONAL: meaning and examples

Welcome back to the Daily Vitamin and happy Wednesday!

Are you ready for a today's lesson about the FIRST CONDITIONAL? We use the FIRST CONDITIONAL to talk about actions and events in the future that will happen if the first "condition" happens.

Here is the form: (IF present) (WILL infinitive verb)

Example 1: If it rains, I will use an umbrella.

Example 2: If it rains, we will cancel the party.

Example 3: If you cry, you will make me cry!

Now, you try. Can you create a FIRST CONDITIONAL sentence with the two sentences below?

Sentences: On Saturday it might be cold. If so, dinner will be inside (not outside).

There is more than one option. Leave us your answer(s) on one of our social media pages (Facebook or Twitter/X) and we will post the correct answer later. We will also include the answer in tomorrow's Daily Vitamin email.

Have a great day!
