FAR-FETCHED: meaning and examples

Today's expression is: far-fetched

Meaning: very difficult to believe.

Example 1
I sat and listened very carefully to her explanation of why she had arrived late, but the whole convoluted story seemed very far-fetched.

Example 2
She is full of far-fetched business ideas, but I honestly don't think any of them are viable.
