FACE TO FACE: meaning and examples

Meaning: a situation where you are meeting and talking to another person directly; two people in the same place.

Example 1:
I think it would be better if we talked face to face.

Example 2:
I'm glad to be able to speak to you on the phone, but I would prefer a face-to-face meeting.
