THE ALPHABET GAME 2023 (N): meaning and examples

Good morning / afternoon / evening everybody, depending on when you are reading this. Welcome back to the Daily Vitamin. I hope your day is going well so far.

Today we continue with the 2023 Alphabet Game, with our fourteenth letter (N).

Before continuing, once again, I wanted to remind you of a few things related to the contest.

IMPORTANT: To participate (and win one of the prizes), you should:
1) be a follower of at least one of our social media sites (either Facebook or Twitter).
2) share the initial contest post (June 1st) on at least one of our social media sites.
3) post the correct answer on one of our social media sites each day. At the end of the 26 lessons, the person with the most points will be the winner.

HOW TO GET POINTS AND WIN
For posting a correct answer on our Facebook or Twitter pages, each Alphabet Game participant receives one point automatically. Between all the participants that post correct answers each day, the participant who posts the correct answer first receives 10 additional points, the participant who posts second receives 9 additional points, the participant who posts third receives 8 additional points, etc. The participant who posts tenth receives one additional point. So, the first 10 people to post get 1 point for posting plus the additional points for their 1st-through-10th-place standing. If you post an incorrect answer, you don't get any points.

Below is today's sentence. Do you know what the missing word is? Again, it starts with the letter N.

Sentence: My boss is a pain in the n_____; he constantly organises meetings and then cancels them five minutes before.

HINT: This word was covered in a Daily Vitamin from January of this year (2023).

Give us your answer on one of our social media sites (Facebook or Twitter) and we will provide the correct answer later. We will also include the answer in the next Daily Vitamin email.

We'll be back tomorrow with a lesson about the letter O.

Enjoy the rest of your day!
