Hello again.

Today we finish our look at some common English expressions that use the word spread in them.

Today's expression is: to spread yourself thin

Meaning: to do so many things at one time that you end up doing none of them well.

Example 1
I have trouble telling people no, so I end up getting involved in a lot of activities and spreading myself too thin.

Example 2:
Jack is a good managing director, but lately he has spread himself too thin and is having trouble keeping up with all of his responsibilities.
