SOME OTHER TIME: meaning and examples

Happy Wednesday everyone. Welcome back to the Daily Vitamin. I hope you are having a good day and an excellent week so far.

Today we look at a phrase that we use quite a lot in English.

Today's English Phrase is: SOME OTHER TIME

Meaning: When we say that we'll do something some other time, we usually mean at some indefinite time in the future... possibly never. And in the moment, we do not set a specific time or date.

Example 1: David. I'm so sorry we didn't go to the cinema this weekend. But don't worry... we'll go some other time

Example 2: Janet. We need to finish the PowerPoint presentation for tomorrow's meeting. For now, forget about the Marketing plan for next year. We'll finish that at some other time
