SALES VOCABULARY: IN BULK: meaning and examples

Hello, Daily Vitamin readers! And happy Tuesday to you. I hope your week has started off well.

Our theme this week is Sales Vocabulary. Today's phrase is IN BULK.

Definition: The sale of goods in large quantities (and therefore at a lower price). We call the purchase of things in large quantities "buying something in bulk."

Example 1: We are a family of 8, so we buy things like shampoo and toilet paper in bulk.

Example 2: We are hosting a fundraiser and will have to buy all of the food in bulk

Example 3: I know it is cheaper to buy in bulk, but we have nowhere to store all of the items.

That's it for day two of this theme. Join us tomorrow for another lesson. Take care!
