Today's expression is: (as) quick as a flash
Meaning: very quickly
Example 1:
When he found out that his uncle was ill, he returned home quick as a flash.
Example 2:
Quick as a flash he grabbed the MP4 player and ran out of the shop. However, the security guard ran after him and caught him.
