Today's expression is: to mess with someone or something

Meaning: to get involved with someone or something that may be bad or harmful.

Example 1:
I wouldn't mess with him if I were you. He has a black belt in karate and has a tendency to be violent.

Example 2:
Stop messing with me or you are going to regret it.
