Meaning: used in spoken English when you are giving something to somebody.
Example 1 (in a bookshop):
Here you are. These are the books that you were asking for. Right?
Example 2 (in a taxi):
Taxi Driver: Five euros eighty please.
Jack: Here you are. You can keep the change.
You can also use here you go in these contexts.
Example 3:
Taxi Driver: Five euros eighty please.
Jack: Here you go. You can keep the change.
