FACE (2): meaning and examples

Good morning. Yesterday we looked at one meaning of the verb to face. It means to be or to turn toward a particular direction. Today we will look at another meaning of this verb. Today's word is: To face (verb) Meaning 2: to deal with an unpleasant or difficult situation. We often use this verb with the negative auxiliary verb can't. Example 1 Farmers are facing the possibility of water shortages due to the drought (sequía). Example 2 I can't face going outside today. It's too hot and humid.
