EYE EXPRESSIONS-6: meaning and examples
Good morning.
Today we complete our review of English expressions that use the word eye in them.
Today's expression is: to have eyes in the back of your head
Meaning: to be aware of everything that is happening around you, even things that seem difficult or impossible to see.
Example 1:
Our teacher is amazing! Every time we do something wrong, he seems to catch us. I think he has eyes in the back of his head!
Example 2:
One thing I learned as a father is to have eyes in the back of my head. My son has always been very good, but he can often be mischievous.
