DUE (3): meaning and examples

Good morning. In recent Daily Vitamins we have seen DUE used as a preposition and an adjective. Today we're going to look at its meaning and use as an ADVERB. Today's word is: due (adverb) It means: directly toward the south, north, east or west. Example 1 The campsite is about 5 miles due north of Manteca. It's very easy to find; you can't miss it! Example 2 The farm is about 25 kilometres due east of Tarragona. Please post questions about today's Daily Vitamin in the Daily Vitamin Plus! forum section on our website.
