BUSINESS VOCAB: CUSTOMER BASE

Happy Friday everyone!

This week our theme has been Business Vocabulary. Today we are focusing on the expression CUSTOMER BASE.

Definition: A group of customers who repeatedly purchase products or services from a company.

Example 1: Our customer base has always been women between the ages of 25 and 39, but we are looking to expand our market. 

Example 2: The customer base for e-commerce has grown significantly over the last 15 years.
