BAKING VOCABULARY (TO GREASE)

Today's verb is: TO GREASE

Definition: to put fat or oil on something.

Sentence 1: Remember to grease the tins well before adding the cake mixture. That way the cake won't stick.

Sentence 2: Before adding the vegetables and the fish to the pan, be sure to grease it lightly with some olive oil. Then cook it in the oven for 30 minutes at 220 degrees.
