CHRISTMAS VOCABULARY: STOCKING STUFFER

Hello everyone! Happy Thursday to you all. 

It's our fourth day of our week about Christmas Vocabulary. Today we are looking at the expression STOCKING STUFFER. 

Definition: a small gift that can fit into a Christmas stocking (the large "socks" that some people hang by the fireplace). 

Example 1: We always got chocolates as stocking stuffers. 

Example 2: I remember getting CDs as stocking stuffers when I was a child. 

Example 3: This toy would be a great stocking stuffer.
