Happy Tuesday, everyone! Are you ready to continue with our Expression with BOOTS?

Today's expression is: QUAKING IN ONE'S BOOTS. 

Definition: To be scared. 

Example 1: I was quaking in my boots before my interview. 

Example 2: I remember when we were kids and we broke a window while playing with a ball. We were quaking in our boots when our dad came home! But he just laughed. 

We also say SHAKING instead of QUAKING.

Example 3: I was shaking in my boots before my presentation.
