NOT AT ALL: meaning and examples

Good morning. I hope all of you had a nice weekend.

Today's expression is: Not at all

Meaning: used to politely accept thanks or to agree to something.

Example 1:
John: Thank you very much.
Mike: Not at all.

In example 1, the meaning is the same as you're welcome (de nada). We can also say don't mention it.

Example 2:
José Luis: Thank you very much for your help.
José: Don't mention it.

Example 3:
Lisa: Will it bother you if I smoke?
Jack: Not at all.

In Example 3, Jack politely accepts the smoking.
