Today is the last day of our week of homonyms. We are ending with the word TIRE.

Definition 1: To become tired. 

Example 1: When children get older, they tire of their toys. 

Example 2: I will never tire of listening to my favourite song. 

Definition 2: The rubber part of a wheel of a car, bike, or other vehicle (US English). 

Example 3: My right tire needs more air. 

NOTE: In the UK, this word for the second definition is spelled with a "Y" (TYRE).
