PHRASAL VERBS FOR ROMANCE (ASK SOMEONE OUT): meaning and examples

Today we are continuing with our Phrasal Verbs related to Romance. Today we are looking at the phrasal verb TO ASK SOMEONE OUT

Definition: To ask someone to go on a date. 

Example 1: The guy from the cafe finally asked me out. We have a date on Friday. 

Example 2: Are you going to ask her out? I think she would say yes. 

Example 3: We met in February, but he didn't ask me out until June. He was so shy. 

As you can see, this phrasal verb is TRANSITIVE and SEPARABLE.
