VERB + PREPOSITION (SPEND)

Happy Wednesday, everyone!

Before starting, I wanted to let you know that I will be doing a free webinar (an online class) about how to improve your English pronunciation. The webinar is Today, October 17th at 14:15. You can register for the class at the following link:

As you probably know, this week we are learning Verb + Preposition Combinations. Today's combination is SPEND ON

Definition: To put time or money or effort into something.

Example 1: I spend a lot of money on travel, but it's worth it.

Example 2: What did you spend your birthday money on?

Example 3: I spent my bonus paycheque on a new sofa.

Example 4: I spent a lot of time on this project.

That's it for today. I hope you don't spend too much time on unnecessary projects today!
