THE WORD EVEN (EVEN IF)

Welcome back, Daily Vitamin readers! Happy Thursday to you.

Today we are looking at another EVEN phrase: EVEN IF.

EVEN IF is used in the part of a sentence that describes an unreal situation or something that doesn't happen often.

Example 1: Even if I had all the money in the world, I would not buy an expensive car.

Example 2: I can't drink this coffee. Even if I added more sugar and cream, it would still be too bitter.

Example 3: We couldn't go to the beach because it was raining. But even if it were sunny, I wouldn't have gone. I don't like the beach.

That's all for today. Thank you for reading!

We will see you tomorrow for one more lesson about the word EVEN.
