BUSINESS IDIOMS (ON TOP OF SOMETHING): meaning and examples

Welcome to our last lesson of the week, everyone! Today we are looking at a final Idiom Used in Business: TO BE/STAY ON TOP OF SOMETHING.

Definition: To have something under control; to stay ahead of a situation.

Example 1: Thank you for staying on top of this project. You're doing a wonderful job managing it.

Example 2: I go into the office early, so that I am always on top of my responsibilities.
