THE ALPHABET GAME: 'Q': meaning and examples

Hello, everyone! I hope that you had a nice weekend and are having a wonderful Monday. 

Today we continue with the Alphabet Game. The answer for today's word begins with the letter "Q." As always, today's word is from a DV post from this academic year.

Two words complete these sentences. Do you know them?

Sentence 1: My computer just _____ _____ me. It won't start. 

Sentence 2: The boss treated his employees terribly. One day, they all _____ _____ him.

Clue 1: It is a phrasal verb. 

Clue 2: It has two definitions, at least.

Clue 3: One definition is "to stop working for, associating with, or being friends with someone."

Clue 4: Another definition is "to stop working or functioning."
