PHRASAL VERB FRIDAY: GANG UP ON: meaning and examples

Hello, readers! Welcome to Phrasal Verb Friday and our last lesson of the week.

This Friday we are looking at the phrasal verb TO GANG UP ON (someone).

Definition: to harass; to bully. 

Example 1: Sometimes I feel like everyone at work gangs up on me. I don't feel their support.

Example 2: My three roommates are ganging up on me and it's making my home life very uncomfortable.

Example 3: When I was little, my classmates ganged up on me because I was very small and easy to bully.

This phrasal verb is TRANSITIVE and INSEPARABLE.
