Definition 1: to stop working, associating or being friends with someone, especially when they need support

Example 1: The workers just quit on me. Now I have no one to help me with the project.

Example 2: I know I was a bad friend, but I'm sorry. I need your friendship. Don't quit on me

Definition 2: to stop working or functioning

Example 3: My phone just quit on me after three months. What a cheap product.

Example 4: I think my computer is quitting on me. It's making strange noises.

This phrasal verb is INSEPARABLE.
