WORDY WEDNESDAY: 'CRAVE': meaning and examples

Welcome to our last post of September, readers! I hope that you are having a great week.

Are you hungry? What specifically would you like to eat right now? If there is a specific food that you would like to eat, then today's Wordy Wednesday vocabulary is very useful. Today we are looking at the verb TO CRAVE.

Definition: to feel a powerful desire for something.

Example 1: I am craving pizza right now!

Example 2: Lately, I've been craving my Mom's delicious chocolate cake. 

We often use this word with food, but we can also use it for other things that we strongly desire. 

Example 3
: My youngest child really craves attention.
