KEEP YOUR ENGLISH ALIVE DURING SUMMER: meaning and examples

Good morning.

Today's special Daily Vitamin will be the last Daily Vitamin until Monday, September 16th. Therefore, today I wanted to take this opportunity to encourage you to make a plan to stay in contact with English this summer.

If you are a Ziggurat student or are registered for the ZigSpace, these weeks of holidays might be a good time to:
  1. Review and revise the more than 1900 Daily Vitamins that we have created since October 2003.
  2. Listen to the Daily Vitamin sound files on our website, to improve your pronunciation and listening skills.
  3. Do some of the 100 monthly activity packs that we have created, which will help you to consolidate the content covered for each month.
Some time ago I had a student return from summer holidays with a stronger level than when he left. (This is a true story!) During the summer he read in English, watched films and DVDs in English and went to Scotland with his family (among other things). There is no reason not to improve your English in the summer.

For some suggestions (in Spanish) about how to stay in contact with English in the summer, see the document at the following link:

We also encourage you to browse the resources section of our website at the following link:

Have a great summer and we'll see you on September 16th!
