LIKE-5: meaning and examples

Good morning again.

Today we continue with our study of expressions with the English word like.

Today's like expression is: How would you like it...?

Meaning: used to emphasize that something bad has happened to you and you want some sympathy.

Example 1:
Julie: I think you are making quite a fuss about all of this.
Erik: Quite a fuss? How would you like it if someone called you a liar.

Example 2:
How would you like it if the only thing you did all day was try to find enough food to live on? Well, that's what happens to the majority of the people on this planet.
