TYPO: meaning and examples

Good morning everyone.

Yesterday we received the following message from Lucas.

I have read the Daily Vitamin today and a doubt comes up. Is it correct the use of the word MY in this sentence?

"I used to have a very big laptop computer to bring with MY when I travelled to see clients. Now I have a very small notebook computer, which is much more convenient."

Thank you in advance. Lucas

First of all, thank you very much, Lucas, for taking the time to point this out. I had meant to write ME and recorded the audio that way. We have corrected the typo.

Today's word is: typo.

Meaning: a small mistake in a typed or printed text. Typo is the shortened form of typographical error.

Example 1:
Due to a typo in the contract, the whole process had to be repeated. The contract was rescinded and another one had to be signed.

Thanks again Lucas. I always appreciate Daily Vitamin users contacting us about the lessons.

On Tuesday we will return to expressions with lap. (There will be no Daily Vitamin on Monday because of All Saints Day.)

Remember that tomorrow we will send the Essential Weekly Vitamin for Spanish-speaking students of English.

Have a nice day. Bye!
