PHRASAL VERBS FOR SUMMER (DRY OFF): meaning and examples

Hello and happy Monday, everyone!

Today we begin our last week of the Daily Vitamin lessons for this academic year. To celebrate the upcoming summer vacation, we are learning Phrasal Verbs for Summer.

Today's phrasal verb is: TO DRY OFF

Definition: To become dry. If something dries off, or if you dry it off, all the water dries or is wiped from its surface.

Example 1: Can I use your towel to dry off?

Example 2: Make sure you dry the kids off before they come inside the house. 

Example 3: I'll meet you after I dry (myself) off

This phrasal verb is optionally SEPARABLE
