WORDY WEDNESDAY: BAFFLED: meaning and examples

Hi everyone! How is your week going? I hope everything is well with you. 

For Wordy Wednesday, we are looking at a word that you might use a lot with things like language learning: BAFFLED

Definition: confused.

Example 1: I am baffled with the clothes kids wear these days!

Example 2: She was baffled by the strange questions the reporter asked her. 

Example 3: The student's answer to this question baffles me. It doesn't make sense. 

Notice how we often us BAFFLED WITH and BAFFLED BY. We can use either preposition with this word when we use the adjective form. Example 3 shows that the word is TRANSITIVE when we use it as a VERB. Something always baffles someone.
