WORD FORM PRACTICE: (COMMON): meaning and examples

Welcome back, everyone!

Today is the last day of Word-Form Practice and we are looking at three forms of the word COMMON. Do you know which form of the word goes in the three sentences below?

Sentence 1: Caffeine is _____ used to treat headaches.

Sentence 2: I like my roommate, but we do not have much in _____.

Sentence 3: It is _____ knowledge that smoking can kill you, but people continue to smoke because it is addictive.

Do you know the answers? Give us your responses on one of our social media sites (Facebook or Twitter) and we will post the correct answers later. We will also give you the correct answers in Monday's Daily Vitamin email.

We hope you enjoyed this week's theme. It is a great way to expand your vocabulary, and it’s also great practice for Cambridge Use of English. Thanks for participating and have a great weekend!
