BUSINESS EXPRESSIONS (GET DOWN TO BUSINESS)

Hello Daily Vitamin readers! How's your day going? I hope you're having a nice week. 

This week we are learning Business Expressions; today we are looking at the phrase TO GET DOWN TO BUSINESS. 

Definition: To begin working; to begin something by giving the determination or seriousness it needs. 

Example 1: Now that we have all met each other, let's get down to business. 

Example 2: Here's my agenda for the meeting. As you can see, we will do introductions and then we will get down to business. 

Example 3: We spent about 30 minutes talking about our families, and then we got down to business.
