Hello, everyone! Happy Monday to you. Are you ready for another week of Daily Vitamin lessons?

This week's theme is verbs with OUT. Each day we will look at a word that begins with OUT. Each word is a great addition to your vocabulary. We hope you enjoy them.

Today's word is: OUTBID

Definition: To offer to pay a higher price than another person for something.

Example 1: Someone outbid me in the silent auction. I couldn't buy the painting. 

Example 2: Another family outbid us for our dream home. Oh well... we'll find another one
